PRIVACY POLICY

Last Updated: December 14, 2025

1. Introduction

Verida Group LLC (“Company”, “we”, “us”, “our”), an Individual Entrepreneur registered in Georgia, operates the website aichat.guide (the “Service”).

We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our website or use our AI software.

By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

2. Data We Collect

We collect information in the following ways:

2.1. Information You Provide to Us

  • Account Data (via Google Login): When you log in using your Google account, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google. We do not manage your Google password.

  • Synchronized Account Data: We store your usage history, remaining usage limits, and application preferences associated with your account ID. This allows us to synchronize your experience and limits across different devices and platforms.

  • User Input (Prompts): We collect the text prompts and parameters you input into the AI widget to generate results.

  • Support Data: If you contact us via email, we collect the content of your message and your contact details.

2.2. Information Collected Automatically

  • Device & Usage Data: We collect information about how you access the Service, including your IP address, browser type, operating system, and the dates/times of your visits.

  • Device Fingerprinting: We use FingerprintJS to generate a unique identifier for your browser. This is used to enforce usage limits and prevent abuse (e.g., preventing users from bypassing account limits by logging out or using multiple devices to exceed free tiers).

  • Cookies: We use cookies to maintain your login session and settings.

2.3. Information Processed by Third Parties (Payments)

  • Paddle: All payments are processed by our Merchant of Record, Paddle. We do not collect or store your credit card number or financial information. Paddle provides us with the status of your subscription (e.g., “Active”, “Canceled”) so we can unlock Premium features for you.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use your data for the following specific purposes:

  1. Service Delivery: To generate the AI responses you request, sync your history across devices, and manage your account.

  2. Usage Enforcement: To track your daily request count using your User ID or Device Fingerprint.

  3. Security & Debugging (Prompt Logging):

    • We log User Inputs (prompts) and AI Outputs to monitor the technical performance of the software.

    • Human Access: These logs are generally processed automatically. Human access to specific logs occurs only when necessary to resolve a technical bug you reported, investigate a security breach, or comply with a legal dispute.

  4. Communication: To send you critical system emails (e.g., changes to this policy, service downtime, or billing issues). We do not use your email for marketing purposes unless you explicitly opt-in separately.

4. Data Retention

  • Account Data: Retained as long as your account is active. You may request deletion at any time.

  • Interaction Logs (Prompts/Outputs): We retain prompt history and generation logs for 90 days for debugging and improvement purposes. After 90 days, this data is permanently deleted or anonymized.

  • Financial Records: We retain basic transaction records (invoice dates, amounts paid) for tax compliance in Georgia for the period required by law (typically 3-5 years).

5. Sharing Your Data

We do not sell your personal data. We only share data with the following categories of third parties:

  • Service Providers:

    • Hostinger: For website hosting and database storage.

    • Google Gemini API: Your text inputs are sent to Google’s AI API to generate the response. Google processes this data according to their AI data terms.

    • Analytics Providers: We may use tools like Google Analytics or Hotjar to understand website traffic patterns. These tools collect anonymized usage data.

  • Legal Compliance: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities (e.g., a court or government agency).

6. International Data Transfers

Your information, including Personal Data, may be processed on computers located outside of your state, province, country, or other governmental jurisdiction where the data protection laws may differ.

  • Hosting: Our servers are provided by Hostinger and may be located in the European Union or the United States.

  • AI Processing: Data sent to the Google Gemini API is processed on Google’s global server infrastructure.

By using the Service, you consent to this transfer. We take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location (including the EU/EEA), you may have the following rights:

  • Right to Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.

  • Right to Rectification: Request correction of inaccurate data.

  • Right to Deletion: Request that we delete your personal data (“Right to be Forgotten”).
